How the self service dog wash works
Step 1
Book online
Use the online booking page to select your date and time, enter details and pay.
Step 2
Arrive on time
Please arrive promptly for your booking slot.
Step 3
Access the washroom
Go to the front door of the wash room, to the left you will see a lock box located on the wall, flick down the box and use the code we sent you. You will now have access to a key attached to a chain, use this to unlock the door.
Step 4
Close the door
Get yourself and you're dog securely into the building and close the door behind you.
Step 5
Get ready
Grab yourself gloves and an apron and attach your dogs lead to the appropriate neck noose.
Step 6
Prepare shampoo
Mix shampoo concentrate with lukewarm water in the jug (Be careful that your dog doesn't kick this over)
Step 7
Wash your dog
Test the water temp, wet your dog and turn off the shower. scrub with the wash puff provided - avoid your dogs eyes.
Step 8
Rinse thoroughly
Rinse all shampoo off, checking water temp again.
Step 9
Dry with chamois
Wring and use the chamois to remove excess water from your dog.
Step 10
Time for the drying area
Walk your dog to the drying area and attach to the neck noose. unclip the blaster hose from the bracket and turn on the blaster- pushing the button up controls heat & power. The toggle nozzle will be controlling velocity, ensure you don't turn this too high as they are very powerful - test on your hand first. Use the provided happy hoodie to protect your dogs ears.

Watch your time
You can check the clock on the wall to keep an eye on your time.
Step 12
Use grooming tools
Brushes, combs, ear wipes & perfumes are in the plastic boxes.
Step 13
Prepare to exit
Walk your dog carefully down the ramp.
Step 14
Clean up
Place used items (chamois, shampoo bottle, and happy hoodie) in the bin provided at the bottom corner of the ramp.
Step 15
Tidy up
Once your time slot has ended you're welcome to do a quick clean up if you like. But please don't feel obliged, the facilities are thoroughly disinfected and all hair removed after each booking.
Step 16
Lock up
Now you're done its time to lock the door with the key and close the lock box!
